ROOTED for Change’s First 100 Days and the Road Ahead
Dear Friends, Partners, and Changemakers,
It is with deep joy, purpose, and gratitude that I officially introduce our ROOTED for Change 100-Day Plan and One-Year Strategic Priorities—a living blueprint to guide our early steps and long-term vision.
ROOTED for Change isn’t just an organization—it’s a movement built from the belief that access changes everything. When individuals and families have access to education, wellness, and opportunity, communities thrive. Our mission is personal, rooted in lived experience, and designed to be transformational—not transactional.
Over the past few months, I’ve poured my heart into co-creating this vision with community voice, data, and strategy. I’ve also stayed grounded in the same values that brought me to this work: truth, trust, dignity, and bold hope.
✨ In our first 100 days, we are focused on:
Finalizing our nonprofit foundation and brand identity
Hosting listening sessions in Kyle, TX to ensure community voice leads our work
Launching our digital presence and pilot programming
Securing initial funding and partnerships
📅 Our One-Year Priorities expand our focus to:
Launching our education, wellness, and economic empowerment programs
Deepening systems for accountability, sustainability, and storytelling
Growing our team and building infrastructure for bold, lasting change
As the Founder, I lead with love and listen before I act. I stay grounded through reflection, proximity to the work, and authentic partnership. This is not just leadership—it’s a calling.
